There are five ways in which the Centre is used by visitors. You can refer to the Calendar and Bookings page to see what facilities are already booked.

Guided walks

The trust runs a summer programme of guided walks of two types: day walks and bat walks.

Group visits

We welcome visits from schools, students, special interest groups and individuals. These are made by special arrangement.

Residential Use

The Centre can accommodate groups of up to 20 people using bunk rooms with access to full kitchen, washroom and common room facilities. Such groups will normally be organising their own programmes and will only have access to the museum, quarry and caves by special arrangement.

Meetings and events

Spaces at the Centre are available for hire for meetings and other events. These will often be related to environmental issues but not confined to the objects of the Trust.

Caving

The Centre may be used for visits to caves for recreational or research purposes. Special arrangements exist for access to Reeds Cave.
