The Trust’s Centre provides comfortable but basic self-catering accommodation which is reasonably priced. There are five bunkrooms that can between them accommodate 20 people, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and common room with toilets and showers, and a disabled toilet. The building is heated. There is adequate parking space.

Users will need to bring their own bedding, washing kit and towels. The kitchen is equipped with basic utensils and cooking equipment, but groups should bring any specialist cooking equipment that they may require along with their own food and tea towels. Although we try to keep the Centre as clean and tidy as possible, this relies on groups leaving the site in a clean condition and there are adequate cleaning materials and equipment.

The Centre is largely used by groups involved in a variety of outdoor and environmental activities, including caving. There is outdoor space for washing kit and a drying room is available.

The availability of the Centre for residential use can be seen by consulting the Calendar. Booking can be made on the booking form, which includes the full conditions of use and the charges that apply.

Information about the location of the Centre is available on the Contacts page. How to access the Centre and information about operating the heating and alarm systems will be provided when booking. Residential users will not have access to the museum or to the quarry and caves unless special prior arrangements have been made.
